Zen-Wu Diamond Stone Set of 3
Zen-Wu’s stones are the flattest available on the market, with a tolerance of less than a .0005”. The aluminum alloy base is precisely milled with chamfered edges.
This set includes:
400 grit (40 micron) stone
1000 grit (10 micron) stone
double-sided strop
non-slip mat
The yellow side of the strop is infused with a 1 micron compound that polishes the blade edge. It is self-regenerating and never needs to be recharged. The green side is real kangaroo leather for final polishing and should be used last. No compound is ever needed on this side.

There’s no way to quantify how much better Zen-Wu’s diamond stones are than other manufactures. I truly, without a shadow of a doubt, think this is the best diamond stones and strop combination on the market. If you can prove me wrong, I will eat the strop.
Most stones are comically out of true—these are so flat, they have a rainbow iridescence that typically only comes from flatness in aluminum. You can rub them together and make them suction to each other. Machinists call this wringing, and I never get tired of showing people this at my shop.
The diamonds are suspended in a brass substrate, which holds the diamonds in place better than steel. This also makes the stones self-leveling, ensuring they stay dead flat.
The double-sided strop is out of this world. The kangaroo side is for final compound free burr cleanup and the other side is self recharging, which means that you are looking at the first and only strop on the market that doesn't need compound. Yes, you heard that right. My mind was blown the first time I heard that.
Micron compounds are infused in the yellow side, almost like a sponge. New compounds are always working their way to the top, which is what makes this strop self-regenerating and never in need of recharging.
